Local lass Layla takes to the lead to Team GB
Seventeen year old Layla Khan’s talents are rapidly leading her to national level, despite being involved in boxing for just 2 years. The undefeated teenager has been selected for the England Performance Pathway, beating some of the best boxing talent in the country to the prestige pathway.
Beginning a blazing boxing careerIt’s a strong kickstart to an already promising boxing career, with potential Team GB membership joining Layla’s existing achievements: 8 unbeaten fights, a national title at the National Development Championships and a triumph at the Barum Boxing Cup.
Hip Hip Prize Hub first sponsored Layla in October 2024. Our sponsorship funds have allowed her to keep training and develop her talents in the sport - a cause we’re truly passionate about supporting across the nation, from Bacup to the Highlands. “She gives 100% effort every day and we couldn’t be prouder,” her father says - and we’re super-pleased to support her too! And whenever you buy a raffle ticket from Hip Hip Prize Hub, a portion of the ticket price is going to a worthy, local cause just like this. From nurturing local talent to donating essential funds to keep community clubs open, we’re always keen to hear about the worthy causes that you care most about.
